Step by step

Activate your eSIM in under 5 minutes

Pick your device, tell us how you want to use the eSIM and follow the steps. Works on iPhone, iPad and Android.

Scan the QR with your phone

Open the Camera app on your iPhone, iPad or Android and point it at the activation QR from your Netcom Travel email. Then follow the steps below, ideally at home on wifi before you leave.

Avoid roaming charges

Turn 'Data roaming' OFF on your main SIM. On iPhone also turn 'Allow cellular data switching' OFF, so your phone does not fall back to your home line in weak coverage. On Android, disable 'Automatic data switching' (Pixel) or 'Smart data switching' (Samsung) if present.
