Frequently asked questions
Does the eSIM cover the whole United States?
Yes. The plan runs on a nationwide US network, so it works in cities, along interstates and in most tourist regions. Remote back country areas can still be out of coverage, as they are for local phones.
Do I get a US phone number?
The plan is data only. That covers maps, rideshare, email and calls over WhatsApp, FaceTime or Teams. Your own number stays reachable on your normal line.
Can I use the same eSIM in Canada and Mexico?
Not with the US country plan. If your trip crosses borders, choose the North America plan instead, which stays connected in all three countries.
How long is the plan valid?
